The serial number is on the front of the dash prior to car serial
number
5,001,495. After this serial the number will be located on a plate
attached
to the left frame member under the front fender.
The body number and symbol is located on the lower left corner of
the dash
on the engine side.
The engine number is stamped on an aluminum plate attached to the
left rear
side of the engine on models 50, 51 and 52. On model 53 cars the
engine
number is stamped on a boss located just above the water jacket
cover plate.
